Emergencies
YourDoc is not for emergencies. If you think you or someone else is in danger — chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, stroke signs, thoughts of self-harm, or any life-threatening problem — call 112 (India) or go to the nearest hospital now. Do not wait for a reply in the app.
Jivika is an AI, not a doctor
Jivika is an artificial-intelligence guide. She can make mistakes, may not know your full history and cannot examine you. She does not diagnose, prescribe or replace a doctor. Treat her answers as general information, and check anything important with a qualified doctor.
General information only
Health articles, tips, reminders and other content are for general education. They are not personal medical advice, and they are not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read or heard on YourDoc.
Online consultations
Remote consultations have limits. A doctor may decide you need an in-person examination or tests, or may decline a case. Doctors on YourDoc are independent professionals responsible for their own advice. Follow the doctor’s instructions and tell them about all your medicines and allergies.
Medicines
- Take medicines only as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not stop or change a medicine without asking your doctor.
- Reminders are a convenience; they may fail (for example if notifications are off). You remain responsible for taking your medicines.
- Seek help at once for severe side effects or allergic reactions.
Health Connect and device readings
Readings from phones and wearables can be inaccurate. They are shown for your information and are not a medical diagnosis.
